for Grandma

Today has been such a wonderful day so far! Woke up early next to my beautiful BF, grabbed a cup of coffee and went to the market. Let Mother's Day weekend begin.

My studio is full of crazy gorgeousness. After all flowers were cut and put in water I got a second to sit back and look around...I can sense that my Grandmother is proud of me. I feel her love when I am loving.

I want to say thank you to all the Mothers out there who give so freely of themselves. Who make it easier for all us babies to grow up able to love and be loved.

I'm thrilled to spend my night making up floral arrangements for the Moms! See you tomorrow at the Echo Park Craft Fair!!

new spot! INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY

I went to Atwater Village today to check out the cute new shop INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY. Monica and her hubby Justin did such a great job renovating the space! I also got to chat with Monica a bunch about being a new business owner, air plants, and our mutual appreciation for the East Side.

MARFA came to LA!!! You can check out the sights at HEATH CERAMICS. MCDC put some flowers on the table for the opening this past weekend.

We had a lot of help crafting up the MOON flag party favors and our MOON pie gift bag give-aways!

RACHEL CRAVEN + HEATH CERAMICS

MCDC worked with Rachel Craven this past weekend on her Heath Ceramics textile line opening party. It was a dream to work in the studio there and play with all the beautiful vessels. Rachel's linens are seriously amazing!

VINEYARD WEDDING

In September Amy and I traveled up to Santa Ynez to do the floral and decor for the wedding of Anna & Mather. We were welcomed into their family's vineyard where the wedding was held and were blown away with the beauty of the land. Such a great time! Such great wine! Such beautiful dahlias, clematis, and garden roses!
